Having a father who invested in buying and selling property, and a mother who was an interior designer, Kathy moved every 2 years. Her life was all about changing schools, packing and unpacking boxes, and improving homes for sale. The conversation at her Sunday dinners was all about buying, selling, developing and subdividing properties. As a result of this early education in real estate, Kathy is particularly sensitive to the challenges and emotions involved in moving from one place to another. Kathy has resided in the Chicago area since she was 17 years old, moving often until she and her husband bought their dream home in Deerfield. Kathy enjoys biking, cooking and playing with her children and boxer dog, but her greatest relaxation is enjoying a good performance in the theatre or on the screen. Kathy is very proud of being the founder of GWOSWD, a support group for single, abandoned parents and their children offering the help of attorneys, psychologists, social workers and more.
